The light’s different this time of year,
the sun stays awake for longer.
A beautiful time to be alive,
with spring days and sunshine.
Children look forward to
a school-less summer
of fun and games…
But my fear is,
when midsummer’s over,
the darkness returns,
soon December comes –
the sun’s
hardly up
at all!
Again trying something new. I’ve heard of FF55 (Flash Fiction 55) before, a challenge where whatever you choose to write can only be exactly 55 words, and yesterday Imaginary Garden with Real Toads had their first Mini-Challenge – FF55. The photo was taken out my window, at about 5am this morning, and serves as inspiration for this attempt…
