Paloma of Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie challenged us, for the B&P’s Shadorma & Beyond: The Baker Street, to try a form of her own creation (The Baker Street: 2/2/1b). This type of micropoetry is something I find extremely difficult, being by nature horribly verbose, but I’ve tried (even though I broke the rule of using a ‘b’ in the last line (for Sherlock Holmes’ address of 221b Baker Street), substituting it for an ‘e’ in the first three stanzas and an ‘o’ in the last three).
