Green, green grass abounds.
Do we trust that summer’s here?
Morning frost on ground.
Buds and flowers grow.
Sturdy greens fight winter’s snow.
Spring arrives in May.
Today’s prompt at Pooky’s Poems invites us to compose a haiku (three lines, 5/7/5 syllables) about what we see out the window right now. Not a huge haiku fan, but here’s my attempt, combined with a photo I took the other day.
